The Awakening is a seminar about depression and midlife crisis, the causes and the cure. Garry's personal experience with depression and midlife crisis motivated him to research and learn about this topic. Karen has also experienced times of depression throughout her life. They both have learned the struggles of staying in a committed relationship during the trying circumstances. Now they are compelled to share this information with others. We know that Christianity does not immunize a person from depression. |

Many times, Christians struggle with embarrassment, wanting to hide their situation. This results in isolation which adds to their depressed state. Understanding the condition and realizing that others have navigated through this treacherous time period provides hope as well as the ability to overcome this problem in their lives. As long as Satan can keep God's people living in a defeated state of mind, they are no threat to him. Our desire is to present the truth from God concerning this issue so that He can set people free. Midlife crisis has been an ignored problem for many years. We've seen too many divorces occur because of this problem. The enemy is using this to destroy good families and it is time to "Awaken" the people of God to Satan's devices.
